RECYCLING SOLUTIONS JOINED THE INDUSTRIAL ECOLOGY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE OF THE EUROPEAN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION

Recycling Solutions became one of the co-founders of the new EBA’s Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Development Committee.

The Committee should become a platform for cooperation and communication between the business community and government representatives, where solutions will be developed for sustainable industrial development.

The Committee’s top-priority goals:

▶ Reduction of industrial pollution by enterprises within the framework of fulfilling Ukraine’s international obligations.

▶ Reduction of industrial waste generation.

▶ Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by industry, incl. CO2.

▶ Promotion of industrial waste utilization and implementation of the principles of the circular economy in Ukraine.

The new Committee included representatives of both local and international businesses, and the largest companies from the agricultural, metallurgical, energy and cement industries of Ukraine.
