Senior Strategy Officer
Oleksii Afanasiev was appointed as the Senior Strategy Officer in June 2020. Before that, he spent over ten years in sales, analytics, and project management.
Before joining Recycling Solutions, Oleksii worked for UMG Investments, where he gained a lot of practical experience in business analytics and studied business development prospects. Oleksii participated in the development of the pilot project which grew to become Recycling Solutions in 2012.
He has extensive experience in the development of business strategies and new business projects as well as their implementation. In 2018–2020, he oversaw the construction of the UMF plant and the establishment of the company of the same name.
Oleksii Afanasiev holds degrees in International Economics and Applied Economics from the Donetsk National University.
